Customer Review: My feet are pretty again!
Summary: 5 Stars

I love Ped Egg! After the first use my feet felt soft and smooth like they haven't been in years!
Is this the miracle foot tool that fixes everything? No, but it does what it says. I still use foot cream and I will still go to get professional pedicures, but now I won't have to be embarrassed about my ugly cracked heels and my scaly, rough calluses on my feet. I am not a foot person but I don't want to feel ugly because my feet are gross. I tried foot graters and sanders and pumice stones before, and I will probably still use those with this, however, NOW at least my feet don't hurt from all those thick calluses that crack and bleed and also make my feet look ugly.

In conclusion, Ped Egg does what it says. Buy this if you have heavy calluses with dry cracked feet.

p.s. Be careful the first time you use it because you can hurt yourself if you take off too much the first time. Those cracks on my feet went all the way through the calluses and didn't just go away because I used the Ped Egg. That takes Neosporin.

Customer Review: Skepical of the "cheese grater"...
Summary: 5 Stars

Regarding: Ped Egg Pedicure Foot File

I actually have been making fun of their commercials - calling their product a cheese grater and thinking that it would simply slice chunks off your feet.

Well, I found out a reliable friend has one, and love it... so I thought that I'd give it a try.

My feet are in terrible condition. The cracks in my heels have their own cracks and dry skin - yech! So, I used the egg as described and the skin came off easily (you have to hold it right and cut back-and-forth lengthwise or otherwise you'll get cut) and painlessly. After the first use there was a very noticeable difference. I'll be interested to see what they look like tomorrow morning (I added some heel healing creme and socks for the night).

The clean up was easy, and I did not have any problems with spills. However, those with weak stomachs may find an aversion to grated Parmesan cheese for awhile.

Customer Review: Probably better used as a citrus zester!
Summary: 1 Stars

I purchased this item after seeing the positive reviews on this product (not sure where I read them), and was I misled! When I initially used it, my calloused heel became rougher with more "peels". I had to use my ever-reliable Dr. Scholl's foot "sander" to repair the damage (this product I can highly recommend - only a few bucks and the sander NEVER dulls!). Going back to the Ped egg...from what I could see in the construction of the "graters", they are definitely too large for smoothing callused feet. If anything, it would definitely be great for a citrus zester, but I didn't want to take a chance because it was definitely going back.

Unfortunately, I purchased it direct from Ped egg's website and of course they didn't refund any of the shipping, not to mention them shortchanging the refund by a few dollars, but I guess getting something back is better than nothing.

As usual, another misleading infomercial. And the list goes on...they are only good for entertainment.

Customer Review: No more Hooves!
Summary: 5 Stars

I own a home that is full of tile, my feet are often very calloused. This has been a problem for years and so extreme that I was embarrassed to go to salons to get a pedicure. Then this inexpensive little miracle came around and it was my heels best friend.

I'm not quite sure why there are a few bad reviews, this worked perfectly for me. A helpful hint: you DO need to probably soak your feet in hot water for about 10-15 minutes prior to using the pedegg. This will soften your skin and will help the process of removal. I use this 2-3 times a week and my feet have never been so smooth. It also has an emory board you can attach which in included.

The design is superb. The egg-like shape fits comfortably in your palm. Any skin cells that flake off are stored inside, no mess at all.

Overall, it's the best ten bucks I could ever spend for my feet!

PS--You can purchase the Ped Egg in Pink and profits are donated to breast cancer research :)

Customer Review: I'll have my Ped Egg poached with an english foot muffin
Summary: 5 Stars

At first I pondered the meaning of the prefix, "Ped". Was this an egg for children? Old men who fondle children? No. This was a foot egg. My father has an aversion towards products sold via the internet or television and would screech at the sight of my Ped Egg, so for a while after I had purchased my hard-boiled hoof helper, I was quite literally walking on eggshells. Well, eggs, actually. Well, egg, truthfully. My podiatrist was awfully upset when I explained that he had been replaced with an egg but "That's the way the egg splatters!", I told him. The Ped Egg is a joyful excursion into a new brand of knowledge for a fire-walker like myself: What it's like to have elegant and appropriately skin-colored feet. No longer will I have to endure the hideously charred mess that is the undersides of my foundations. Everyone and their grandmother should own no less than 6 Ped Eggs, if only to experience the oozing pleasure and splendiferous feel of eggs rubbed on your feet.
