SUMMARY: Original product fantastic, replacement blades a complete ripoff. DULL.
Original comment: Absolutely love the ped-egg. It's the only thing that has helped my feet, which used to be so rough they'd tear through socks. Be careful at first, though. It's really easy to overdo it and end up with sore feet for a couple of days.
The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because, both times I've ordered the replacement blades, at least one of the three blades in the package was already dull. I don't know why this keeps happening. It's particularly annoying when it's the last blade in the pack that turns out dull - then I don't have any! I should test them all when I first get them, I suppose.
I wish that the replacement blades were sold in stores, because then it would be easier to return them if they were dull. I'm not going to go through mailing a return package to Amazon for just a couple of bucks.
UPDATE: I'm editing this review and reducing my rating. I still love the original ped-egg, but I have now bought two more packages of the refill blades and every single one was dull. I see from other reviews that I'm not the only one with this problem.

This product is fantastic. I get bad calluses on the balls of my feet so bad it is painful to walk. I had to go to a Podiatrist every 6 weeks to have him cut the down. So when I seen this product on TV I gave it a try and wow no more Podiatrist. I have not been back to him in over a year no need to. The egg works wonderfully and it only takes a few minuets to do.
You will see a lot of reviews telling you that a lot of the shavings fall out of the holder on to the floor. When you use the egg upside down the shavings will fall out, no big deal just put a rag or a towel on the floor.
It will save you a lot of trips to the foot doctor and a lot of money.
My wife tried it and cant believe the difference in her feet. It is just a super product.

Seriously? I can't believe these swindlers. These are NOT the same as the original blade that I had on my ped egg. Buyers, I am not a dramatic person but I felt compelled to write this review to tell buyers to NOT buy this. Get the originals at Bed, Bath and Beyond and don't waste your time and money getting them here. Because while they are advertised to be from the same company and true replacements they are not. Even running my finger over the old, orginal blade that I was looking to replace I notice a remarkable difference. I still can't believe that I'm writing a review on this stupid product. And the sad thing is that I bought THREE of these. Amazon, shame on your for not pulling this product after reading these stinking reviews.Customer Review: Useless

I recently purchased 3 refill boxes through Amazon. They are advertised as having 3 refills per box, but one of the boxes I got had only 2 refills in it, so right off the bat, I was cheated out of one refill. They also just don't work! I've used the PedEgg for a couple years already, and while the original one was worthwhile, for some reason the refills just don't begin to compare. They come right out of the box being dull and ineffective. Two of them didn't work at all and had to be immediately discarded--and no, my feet arent made of dried lizard skin!
