No one likes rough, cracked heels. The Ped Egg is a fabulously simple invention that puts you in control of your own feet. Whether you get regular pedicures or not, you can keep your feet smooth and healthy looking with regular use of the Ped Egg. You know how tough the skin on your heels is, and the blades on the Ped Egg only last so long. How do you know when to replace the blade? When it's too easy to run the blade over your heels! Keep a supply of replacement blades on hand. The emery finishing pad does a really great job of smoothing the skin surface when you've gone as far as you can with the blade surface.Customer Review: Great product but replacement files iffy

I have suffered from cracked feet for more than 30 years. Since using the Ped Egg, my feet have been wonderfully smooth. The only issue I have is when purchasing the file replacement blades. Some of the blades in the pack are are not as sharp as the others. I usually end up only being able to use one out of three. I would like to be able to purchase the emery pads separately since I tend to go through those rather quickly.
Best product I have ever tried and I think I've pretty much tried them all! Newcomers to this product must be careful not to take off too much skin. Check results frequently.

I just got my box of 3 replacement blades. The box was open inside the Amazon box and there were no emery pads. I really needed replacements too. Too much hassle to return them over that though. Unlike some other reviews, my blades are all sharp and the one I tried seems to work fine. I agree that they seem fake. They don't fit the original egg as well and are a slightly different shade of white. I can't find replacements in town though. The Dr. Schol version seems to have stolen the idea from PedEgg and is what is sold in most stores.Customer Review: This stuff works!

This is one of the few as-seen-on-TV product that actually works, and works very well! I used to buy the replacement blades at locol Bed Bath and Beyond store. Unfortunately usually only one of the 3 is sharp enough. I thought maybe they come in 3 different grades of sharpness. The package doesn't say that. I think I was just trying to make myself feel less upset. Anyway, these I bought on Amazon are better in that all 3 blades seem more or less equally sharp, and a lot cheaper than the price I used to pay at the store.Customer Review: HAVE PSORIASIS?

I have had psoriasis for 25 years+. The problem is that with this disease, skin cells grow uncontrolled and scales build up. The salves don't work unless you get the excess skin off. I have found the ped egg very effective at helping me control it - moreso than any product except maybe elta tar - which I put on after using the ped egg.(then go to the suntan for 7 minutes) My psoriasis has been much much improved in the past two months (winter) which is usually the worst time of year for me.
