If I could find Dr. Bronner Peppermint liquid soap in a 55 gal drum... Actually, it will separate and go a little rancid after a couple of years. How do I know? After I discovered this product for myself over ten years ago, I was afraid I would have a hard time finding it again - or worse, that they would go out of business or something. I went back and bought every bottle in the store. It is THAT GOOD! I personally don't care for any other scent except for peppermint, and only use the liquid version. It is invigorating like no other shower soap. Use with one of those net bath sponges on a rope for maximum lather and effectiveness. A little dab'll do ya - though I prefer to lay on the peppermint in more than a dab. Great as a shampoo and for shaving too. All-in-one! I actually think it softens up a man's leathery skin - or so my wife tells me. Keep it out of your eyes though. Some here have mentioned brushing their teeth with it. It's great stuff - but I ain't putting it in my mouth. I've hooked everyone I know on it. Cheap gift that everyone who tries it will appreciate. Back to my shower. It smells fantastic, works better than any other soap, is biodegradable -- we love it. Basically about 3 years ago we stopped buying handsoaps, dishsoaps, and household soaps and instead only use this. About 1 year ago we stopped buying laundry detergent and now pour a little bit of this in the laundry for the cleanest clothes ever that smell minty / fresh and clean. The lavender scent one smells great as well, haven't tried anything other than the blue and lavender types yet. So if you can make this switch to just one kind of soap, imagine how much simpler this is...you don't have to remember to get toilet bowl cleaner, counter spray, oven spray, kitchen floor solutions, window / glass cleaners, etc....just one bottle to replace when it gets low, simple! Also, please note that we heavily dilute this, for example for dishes we fill up a little squirt bottle about 1/4 of the way and add water to the rest. Even still it is super potent. For laundry detergent I would say we put 1/4 cup or less for a medium washer. I would say one of these jugs lasts us for 2-3 months for a family of 2.Customer Review: WOW

so i received this soap and thought ok, this could not have come at a better time since i have the flu...i spilled some on my comforter while transporting the soap from the large jug to a smaller one and panicked but then read that it could be used as detergent too! In the washing machine in went and didn't even need to add detergent :) Now on the skin as a bathing experience, I have extremely sensitive skin btw, this soap is amazing, it soothes and cools your skin and lathers VERY well, while using only a small amount. It helped with my aches and pains from the flu and even opened up my sinus's a bit. The fragrance is lovely peppermint but not overwhelming, i ended up using this soap on my face, hair, and body and it was relaxing yet refreshing ..i will never use another soap again unless it's DR.Bronners and in another fragrance! You don't end up coming out of the shower smelling like a mint either wich is a plus for some ppl if you don't like that fragrance on you all day :)Customer Review: Many uses

This is a great soap. I'm currently out and can't buy any that's why I'm just writing a review. You can water it down and it last a really long time. I use just a dab full strength with a scubing sponge and it really lathers. You can also use it as an ingredient for a natural cleaner (non commercial cleaner) and use it to clean around the kitchen, bathroom and house (outdoors too why chem up your pets, outdoor animals (not the pest), and garden. Just mix a little lemon juice, soap, and water and you can kill a lot of germs around the house naturally.
Health tip - don't walk around the bathroom barefoot you can pick up germs through your feet. House tip - ants can't swim (they drown) when they are spayed with 1/10th soap and water. (types of ant's have varying taste) You can however get rid of a lot of ant's (maybe all) by feeding them corn starch.

I've been using a variety of their soaps for at least 20 years. Every time I wonder if it could be useful some where else I'm always proven right!!! Whole body, dishes & pots/pans (you won't believe how clean it gets them!), shower, sink, bathroom mirror, glasses, ... Basically anything you can rinse off with water.
For example, nothing dissolves tree sap (like from the base of a christmas tree) on your hands like this soap! Nothing!!! It slides right off! This is unbelievably great to clean with. The best part is that there are NO chemicals - all natural ingredients that your body can live with.
The peppermint cleans and rinses off by far the best. Almond then Eucalyptus and Tea Tree (roughly in that order descending). Different ingredients leave a slight residue that washes off using more or less water depending.
