I adore this clean scent. Amazing Grace used to be my signature scent. I got tons of compliments on it. But I realized after awhile that I was wearing that for OTHERS, not b/c I was still in love with the scent. Life changed, and I just seemed to outgrow it. "Pure Grace" is now my signature scent. I don't care if others like it or not- though I do get compliments. And it's always "Mmm, you smell nice", not "What's that perfume you're wearing?" I wear it for ME, though. I have been de-cluttering and simplifying my life for the last four years. I'm a minimalist and love the color white. It's the predominant color in my bathroom, and that's no accident. I love clean smells. This is not oceanic, it's not a floral and it's not a citrus fragrance. Soap and water is what people call it, but it's so much more than that. Believe me, no soap on the market smells this good. And no soap leaves your skin as soft as this shower cream does. It doesn't irritate my sensitive, acne-prone in some areas, dry in other areas skin. I buy this over and over again- that just doesn't happen to me. Well, it didn't until I came across this. This is the scent of my life now- for a woman who's calm, cool, collected, minimalist and independent (or at least is trying to be...) As with all philosophy products, layering is best for both aromatherapy reasons and so that others can smell how clean you are. :) This shower cream is the one in the line I love sniffing at the most. The spray's a bit strong, but usage is necessary to keep the scent lingering all day. A great gift idea. The tough plastic bottle can make it difficult to get the last little bit out of. But it lasts a long time when used with a net puff, because only a quarter-size dollop or so is needed for your whole body. I wish the bottle was opaque, not clear, so it would always look full. But that's just a personal preference. Love it, and philosophy better had keep this in their roster of products. I'm addicted to it!
