The lotion is white, rich and cream, but not as thick as the Pond's Dry Skin Cream. You can control the amount of lotion that comes out in the container with the pressure you use when squeezing it. This can be used on the throat as well plus it is not only for daytime use, as it can be used as a nighttime regimen for moisturizing your face.
The end result is a nice smooth feeling on my face and then I can just use some liquid makeup next. After using other products on my face I am able to note the Pond's scent lingering.
I have had eczema my whole life and can use Pond's Cleansing Lotion & Moisturizer In One because it is Hypo-Allergenic, Dermatologist tested and recommended plus this is suitable for those of us with sensitive skin. There is no worry about clogged pores or residue left behind. The container can last for several months, depending on if you use it twice or once daily. My container states this is for normal to dry skin.
The flip-top lid sometimes has some left over lotion that is easy to wipe away, plus the second half of the lid can be screwed off in case you need to check how much lotion you have left.
