Customer Review: EXCELLENT -USED THIS FOR YEARS

I have used this product for years and IT WORKS. The glycolic acid causes the tingling. That means it's working but if it's too much for you at first, try keeping some water on your face before applying it right after you wash your face. I also use Neutrogena acne wash often because I used to have a minor probolem with acne. The combination of the two really gives me the perfect skin. I've used this product for YEARS too (80's?) although it went by a different name until a couple years ago when Ponds did some re-naming and re-packaging of products. When that happened, I accidentally purchased Oil of Olay and for about a month I kept wondering what happened to my skin. I really didn't know until I found an old jar of my regular product "Ponds Time Rewind" that I had in a workout bag and realized I purchased the wrong product! I stopped using the oil of olay, bought the Ponds Time Rewind and within 24 hrs my skin went back to small pores, younger look.... The Ponds Time Rewind is what works for me. Recently the store I regularly purchase Time Rewind didn't have it. I thought I give Olay a go again and back went my skin to pimples, leathery, older looking. I felt old. :( So now I'm purchasing the product online because i can't get it so easily at the stores I go to. I'm 44 and my skin looks like I'm in my 20's and I have a dermatologist neighbor that can't believe my skin so... there's something to this product that works! I think it's the high glycolic acid content and you may have to get your skin used to it if it's a bit sensitive at first.
Make sure to exfoliate once every other week or so as well by just washing with a soap you trust (I use the neutrogena acne formula) and a very warm face towel/rag. I do this at night once a week: I put a towel under fairly hot/very warm water and holding it to the face and sometimes run it under some hot water again to hold it back to the face (a steam facial basically). This gets rid of old skin and opens up your pores. I would use a regular lotion after this process and not any beta or alpha product will burn a little. I use vasaline (small amount rubbed into skin) or lubriderm when I do the facial steam bath.
Ponds Time Rewind is a must have for me. I HIGHLY recommend it!
