I have had my Jilbere hair straightener for a few years now and only use it occasionally. It heats up very quickly and nicely. I have very long, thick hair and the only problem I can see is it pulls my hair badly. I take very small sections of my hair to iron and even with the small sections, it still pulls. This iron needs some guards on both sides of the plates to minimize the pulling.
