My boyfriend's mom discovered this lotion at her physical therapist office when she was rehabbing a shattered elbow and got some for him when he was recovering from shoulder surgery. He has long since recovered and this has become our back massage lotion of choice. Not a lot of it is needed since it is long-lasting and does not rub away easily, meaning the skin stays well-lubricated, though not greasy. It is good for places like backs, arms, ankles and shoulders. The only thing I find it not ideal for is calf or quad massage on hairy legs. In that case, sometimes it is hard to lubricate enough to work smoothly without having excess lotion you might need to wipe off in the end.
