I'm a 38 year-old woman who has suffered from hair loss for years. My hair thins around the front (sides and top). Stress seems to cause the worst of the fall-out. My Dermatologist recommended that I use Rogaine Extra Strength for Men (yes, Men - she said studies she reviewed established that this would also work for Women). She was right. Rogaine has definitely worked to regrow the hair, but it didn't seem to stop the fall-out. I would still run my fingers through my hair or brush my hair and have a handful of hair fall out. Provillus seems to stop the fall-out. I've been using it for 5 months now and my hair has never been thicker. The Rogaine is regrowing it (I have little baby hairs all over the top of my head) and the Provillus is keeping it from falling out - no more clumps of hair coming out when I brush or wash my hair. It's impossible to determine exactly what is working when it comes to hair loss, but I have seen consistent results over the last 4-5 months that I've been using the Rogaine and Provillus together. I would not recommend the Provillus solution - the main ingredient is the same one used in the Extra Strength Rogaine for Men, but at less than half the strength (2% rather than 5%).
