Redken Smooth Down Heat Glide is the BEST! Especially for thick, frizzy or ethnic hair. I have mixed hair and it works extremely well. It's hard to find where I live, so I have to buy it online. It works best with my solia flat iron, but I use it any time I'm adding heat to my hair. It makes my hair soft, shiny and straight - and if I wear curls it doesn't make them flat. I never worry about my hair burning, because this product protects so well. It's a syrum so it's thick, but not gummy or sticky. Like others stated it doesn't weigh your hair down. You have to experiment and get the right amount of pumps for your hair type. Some didn't like it, because they either used too much or too little. After I flat iron - I smooth a little more on to my ends and throughout my hair to finish it off. My hair has that pro/salon look and I am crazy about this product. People ask me all the time what do I use and I love the compliments. I had a little breakage on my ends and this stuff mended it. It's my holy grail of hair products and I won't do without it!
