I am on my third week of both the NT and DR. I got them for both my fine hair that seems to be getting finer and dandruff. I have been following the directions and doing the NT first and then the DR, letting it sit for 3-5 min. They say they have conditioning properties so I'm guessing you're not supposed to condition...? The first day I tried it my hair was AWESOME, in the top 3 best hair days I've ever had. Even my boyfriend noticed and he usually doesn't even notice dramatic haircuts/dye.
BUT after that first application, the magic disappeared. I've been using more than recommended but still within an hour of getting out of the shower, I catch whiffs of my scalp and hair and it smells as if I haven't washed my hair in days or maybe even weeks. My boyfriend noticed this as well. Even worse, my hair has been just limp/no volume. I tried rinsing for an extra couple of minutes, thinking I must not be getting it all out, and no help. Finally, I have NEVER experienced flyaways/static before, its 80 degrees and humid outside and my hair looks as though I just rubbed a balloon all over it - all the time. I've tried using my favorite bed head cream to tame but to no avail - as soon as I touch or brush my hair, anytime throughout the day or night - it all sticks to my hand and stands 3 ft in the air.
Help! I want to love this product but I can't - are you all using other conditioners on top of the 2 products or what?
