Customer Review: exactly what I wanted and didn't expect to find

I do historical costuming and modeling, so I spend a lot of time with my hair twisted up in rags or bobby pins--takes a lot of time and they're a pain to sleep on. These are so much better! They don't curl as tight as the air-drying methods, but they are great for putting in thick, bouncy, tumbling curls in an hour or so. (Yeah, that sounded like a paid endorcement, but it's not!)
Granted, these do take a while to heat, and you've got to twist them pretty tight and let them cool completely to get good results, but hey--they're a big improvement over my old methods. I have slick-straight, thick, medium-fine hair that is currently halfway down my back. These things do the job.
The only reservation I have about them is they contain a wire inside the cloth cover, and I'm pretty sure that wire is not going to last through many repeated bendings and unbendings (I had a set of "Benders" in the 80's and they tended to break after repeated use). Oh well! I'll find a way to replace it.

These are fantastic! They create perfect natural looking curls, waves and ringlets. They are very comfortable and stay in your hair very well, better than traditional roller (despite what the other reviewer noted. Maybe it is dependent on hair length; I have straight hair that is a little longer than shoulder length.) I am so happy with them that I am buying them as a gift for a friend with similar hair to mine. I highly recommend them.Customer Review: AMAZING!

I curl my hair a lot, I have naturally, straight, thick hair. These rollers work great!! They give you more of a spiral beach wave look, instead of big curls. I love love love them, best purchase I've made this year. Plus they are so portable, the cord rolls right up in the zipper pouch so they travel really well.Customer Review: Don't stay!

These were a gift for my pre-teen niece. The curlers were easy to use and her thick, straight hair maintained a wave for a few days. The carrying case makes it easy for my niece to keep the curlers together.
