I bought this on-line on a whim when I read about how some of the profits supposedly go to cancer research. I NEVER buy expensive cosmetics or skin care products and this one is EXTREMELY pricey, but I have hit that certain age where my lashes (once dark and long without mascara) started getting thinner, lighter and shorter. I really hated feeling like I had to start wearing mascara at my age after not really using it before so I gave in and ordered this thinking that if it didn't work, at least I had donated to cancer research. After using it pretty regularly for about two months I have definitely noticed a difference -- even my nearsighted husband noticed my longer, darker eyelashes! When I first started using it, I did feel some slight itching around my eyelids, but that got better with time. I don't know if it will work for everyone as my eyelashes before I hit 45 were already dark and fairly long and this just seems to be giving me back my youthful eyelashes, but I am satisfied enough with this product that I will be reordering (at that exhorbitant price!) and justifying the cost with the thought that some of that goes to cancer research...
