Merlot at Midnight is a beautiful blush color- it's a berry, wine colored blush that'll give your cheeks a natural or dramatic flushed look, depending on how much is applied.
The color looks quite intimidating in the pan, but looks lovely on cheeks when dusted on lightly and blended well with a loose brush.
The spiral designs are merely a spray of gold pigment that is swiped away immediately, but the five gold dots are engraved throughout the product, providing a very light dusting of gold shimmer with each application (not very noticeable on cheeks though).
I highly recommend this blush for anyone(though fairer skinned people may have to be a bit more careful with application- it is quite pigmented!). It's truly a gorgeous, highly pigmented blush.
This will probably last me a long time as I only have to use very little product each time!
