Bought this a few days ago at Wal-Mar ($24.) and since I've gone through five dryers in the last 3 years, I'm hoping this one will last a bit longer. The last dryer I bought at Costco and paid $35 and turned out to be a cumbersome piece of junk; it bit the dust recently after about a year of use.

This model is nicely designed: feels balanced in your hand, it's light, and my favorite part of it: the index-finger button that reduces heat (actually, causes the heat element to go off altogether) is a very light-touch switch that's easy to use and doesn't make your finger tired. This is what happens with most models: they have a very tightly-sprung button that make your finger or thumb tired after a short time.
Plus, when you click on this index-finger switch, the speed of the fan (air flow) goes up significantly because the heat element is now off.

A good product to start with; we'll see how long it lasts.
