Customer Review: Crappy Blow Dryer

My wife purchased this hair dryer six weeks ago. Last week the high fan speed setting started acting like the low speed setting. The fan was barely spinning on max. So I opened it up and it looks like they used a questionable motor among other things. Turning it on with the thing open and after 2-3 seconds the smell of fried components is immediately noticeable. The electric motor is pretty exposed to dust and debris which is probably the reason that it started failing.Customer Review: Be careful!

I started out really liking this dryer but after a few weeks it would overheat within seconds and send out a spark that would actually burn my hair. It would singe it at the roots and burn off clumps of hair. Then it would be cool for a minute and overheat again. I didn't notice a difference with the Ion option but this is my first dryer with that option so I can't compare it to others. Other reviews seem to be great so I may have gotten a faulty one but be careful.Customer Review: Alright dryer

I bought this dryer becuase I needed one quick and it was cheap. The different setting selection is nice. I have medium thick hair, and a lot of it, that comes down to between my shoulder blades and normally takes me about 30 minutes to dry. It did the job for about a year till it shorted out and sparks came out of it. Not a very long life, but I guess you get what you pay for. I have had other revlon hair styling tools that lasted longer, just not this one.Customer Review: Great Dryer!!

This hair dryer is a lot quieter than any other dryer that I've owned. I was also presently suprised that it was so light compared to my travel hairdryer!! I also think it is great that it comes with the concentrator attachment to help get your hair extra straight. My only complaint is that this attachment is hard to attach and remove. I have long hair and it used to take me over 15 minutes to dry my hair. With this drier, I am done in half the time or less!Customer Review: No more frizz ...

I really like this hair dryer. I have curly hair which tends to be dry normally and with the old hair dryers my hair would end up frizzed at the ends. This hair dryer does a quick, non scorching dry and leaves my hair looking soft. Not sure if it's my imagination but I do not seem to be loosing as much hair as I did when I used my old dryer. My sister purchased this hair dryer first and I got to use it at her house and I was happy with the results.
