Customer Review: It works for me, but may not work for all

I have been using Rogaine for years on the front of my head and it has done a great job of maintaining what I have. I did slack off on using it a few months back and my hair started to get thin. So, I started using it again and now it is back to the way it was before. Now they say it does not work for the front of your head, however this has not been my experience. I find the foam does hold your hair pretty good as long as you do not mess with for the rest of the day. Be sure to wash you hand before and after using the product to reduce the absorption into your skin.
Now some people may notice some shedding after using the product, you will probably freak out because your loosing more hair while using a product that is suppose to grow hair. This normal, stay focused and continue to use the product. Your hair will shed and come back thicker and fuller. Also, at the first sign of hair loss you should start Rogaine, after a certain amount of time I believe Rogaine will be ineffective.
I also use other products as part of my hair loss regimen, they are - DS Labs (aka Revita) - High Performance Hair Growth Stimulating Shampoo, 180 Milliliter liquid (View amazon detail page) for shampooing my hair. For a conditioner I use Nioxin Scalp Therapy #2 - Natural Hair - Noticeably Thinning (4.2 oz.).

Can't give a full review as after a few nights of using this it became more sporadic than not. The main reason for this was that when the foam shoots out of the can, it immediately melts/dissipates. So, I tried shooting it on the fingers then spreading, but that didn't feel like it was getting where it needed to. So I tried shooting it directly on the scalp, then rubbing in, but had the same experience. After owning this for months I still have 2 1/2 cans left, and do not feel confident in the product. Especially since they say you could lose more before you start regrowing. That is kind of a problem, as you are taking a risk on this product making your balding worse and helping. or just making it worse. So I still have these foam bottles sitting there, waiting for me to make a decision. Since I did not follow the program fully, I can't say if this really works or not, so I am leaving a middle of the road review, but if you need a product you feel 100% confident in, this might not be for you. I am afraid I might have lost the $40 I spent on this, please do lots of homework before buying one of these products and don't waste money.Customer Review: Worked for me

I am a 59 year old guy. Very gradually since my late 30s, the hair on the crown of my head has been getting thinner. All of a sudden one day after a haircut, I realized I could see my scalp from the front! That was really depressing. I talked to my doctor and he said Rogaine or Propecia were the only treatments and they didn't work for everyone. Since Propecia can have side effects, I tried Rogaine. This takes a while so you have to be patient. Right around the time I had used up the first package of three, I noticed a marked improvement. Once I saw that, I am very willing to continue this indefinitely. The application is easy and the product itself seems to have a thickening agent like a mousse -- probably intentional. I put it on as directed after the shower, comb my hair, and by the time I've finished shaving and brushing my teeth, all it needs is a very quick blow dry and I'm back to (more or less) the full head of hair I've had all my life. Also, as directed, I put on before bed. BTW, the version they send from Amazon is the unscented, so no problem with the cheap fragrance smell some previously mentioned.Customer Review: Not a bad buy

The shipment actually arrived 2days earlier than anticipated which was a pleasant surprise. I used this product for over a month so far and it seems to be working slowly. One thing is that If you are trying to decide between the solution or foam, I would say go with the foam as it is less messy and easy to use.
As far as the results and side effects go, they are not very drastic But, It does seem to work slowly as I am starting to notice some growth. Also during the first couple of weeks it would give me mild headache after applying the foam but after regular usage I got used to it and doesn't bother me anymore.
My only complaint is that the hair gets greasy in the are used. so, I use the no frizz cream to soften up the hair a bit and comb it or sometimes use hair gel to get an even look. I wish they made a non greasy foam to save me from messy pillow covers.

I have used this (5% only) about two months. My Dr told me it would take 4 months for this to show results, I have yet to see hair growth...BUT...
I never forget to put it on two times a day. Why? I have an extreme case of DRY EYE with eye pain. The first time I used it, within seconds, my eyes felt a little bit better. I thought it was my imagination..however....each time I use it my eyes are better. I now have a marked reduction in the eye pain and friends say my eyes are open wider. I also use Restasis and other eye drops but they didn't help in a real relief and the combination of these products have made a big difference in my life of eye pain. If you have a similar problem, it is worth a try. (It is important to know harmons play a part, the estrogen patch is a big plus with this treatment versus the Premarin by mouth)
