I actually bought this at the store for around a dollar more than what Amazon charges, so it's actually cheaper here. Anyway, I was a little nervous because I have very thick, curly hair (3c/4a)and it's really hard to find products that work specifically for my hair type because it's so in between types. Most of the time, I will flat iron it, but because of the humid Florida weather my hair never stands a chance...I've tried countless beauty supplies (even some stylist recommended) and NOTHING will fight the frizz! As soon as I step out, the fro is back. So when I bought this stuff, I was skeptical but tried it anyway. And guess what! It has been the answer to my prayers. My hair smells great, even after the "stink" of the hair straightener (those who use oil based product with their straightener know the smell I'm talking about.) A little goes a long way; I like to blow my hair out with KMS Flat out (another great product) and add a very small drop or two of the oil to a small section at a time, paying attention to the ends, and flat iron those sections one by one. Takes awhile, but my hair comes out silky soft and stick straight, and best of all it keeps on it's promise of being frizz free. As long as I stay out of muggy situations, my hair will stay straight for days, and still smell amazing!Last night my boyfriend's friend asked me if I had gotten a relaxer because my hair was so straight....I love this product, it is well worth the price and I will buy it as long as they sell it at the store. My boyfriend loves running his fingers through my hair now!
Word of warning, it IS an oil so use sparingly, especially if you have finer hair. Remember, a little goes a very long way, and you can always add more as needed.
