Customer Review: Not Dark Enough

The SHANY Liquid Liner looses a couple stars for me. I like how you are able to intensify the thickness of the line by the angle you apply the liner, but it is just not a dark enough jet black color. Goes on dark but once it dries it lightens up. The "fatness"f the pen does make it easier to hold and control. I had some issues when trying to wash it off. Even though it states it is water-based, it does not come off simply with soap and water. I normally wash off my make up with a facial bar in the shower, but I had to use makeup remover or baby oil to remove all the traces of the liner. It is smudge proof and long lasting as it states (maybe that is why it is hard to remove). If this liquid liner was a rich dark black color I would have gladly given it it 5 stars, but it falls short.
