Hard to say about this.
My In-grown nail might be "a toughie".
The Seki is built like a tank! This thing is not flimsy at all! The cutting edge is just too tough to get dull :-)
The clipper sure keeps that In-Grown nail from daring to get worse, but it doesn't seem to be what I am looking for as far as digging the thing out.

These high quality stainless steel clippers are made in Japan. They make trimming tough toe nails a breeze. You'll never want to use those clippers you got at the drugstore for $4.00 again. The Seki clipper is sharp, requiring little effort, and does seem to catch most clippings - but not all. The head is straight, neither concave or convex, which is right for toenails. I bought this clipper for its purported ability to dig out ingrown nails. When I attempted to use it for this purpose I discovered that the width of the clipper prevents it from doing such. I reverted to using my cheaper 2 dollar pair of clippers for clipping of nails past the edge of the toe.
