Customer Reviews of Seki Edge Toe Nail ClipperCustomer Review: Finally, a clipper worth keeping Summary: 5 Stars
Think about it, cutting your toe/finger nail is a LIFE TIME process, that is to say, there's no way you can skip this task until your death so it makes sense to get a really good clipper. I purchased this clipper based on the recommendation of other Amazon buyers and have been happily clipping away for a year now. Simply put, this is one of the finest clipper you can get for a reasonable amount of money. If feels solid, performs superbly, and clips like day one even after a year of use. "Made in Japan" which means quality is virtually assured.
Customer Review: This is one serious device, it can probably be used to clip dragon's nails. Summary: 5 Stars
This clipper is larger in size than other clippers I've used and so you can use it with very little effort, which was a surprise to me. Also blade is quite big which minimizes time spent on each nail. I really like it and I think it's worth the money.
There's also another Seki toe nail clipper for half the price that caught my attention just now, which may be better value: Seki Edge In-Grown Toenail Clipper
Customer Review: These Clippers are Worth the Price!! Summary: 5 Stars
I have HARD toenails, and a few of them a thick as well.
After spending way over $20 on numerous sets of toenail clippers that don't work at all, or
leave jagged edges, I finally broke down and purchased a set the these.
These clippers are heaver in weight, made of a much better grade of steel than most found on the market
these days, and cut clean through the nail.
NO jagged edges!!
These clippers are worth the money paid for them and should last for many years.
Customer Review: A carrying case would be nice Summary: 4 Stars
I knew this when I bought it: It is indeed a fine nail clipper, and it is not worth the money. I bought it on a whim.
Under these circumstances, it would be nice if this thing shipped with some sort of small, protective carrying case. That way, I could put it in my traveling bag. I certainly don't want to risk damage to the cuttinge edges.
By the way, I don't think that the handle is "cast iron." It is "die cast," but I see no evidence of cast iron.
Customer Review: Precision, precision, precision Summary: 5 Stars
What can you say about a nail clipper? After a couple of months using these, I'm impressed. They allow precision control. I like to keep my fingernails clipped quite closely to ease typing on a laptop computer, and these (and a strong light and good glasses... I'm over 50) allow me to do the job without any fear that I'll cut too close. I can cut the barest amount of nail off with ease. My wife saw me using them, and now she's hooked too. Definitely worth the price.
