I'm pretty disappointed in this hair staightener because I was expecting a lot more. Luckily I purchased it through a discount website so I only paid $25 for it. I'd be very mad if I had actually paid full price.
The ceramic plate (actually tourmaline) on this product is TINY!! And my hair keeps getting caught in the plastic around the plate. It's designed very poorly and CHEAPLY. I straightened my hair at 400F degrees (supposedly) this morning and it's till wavey after losing several strands from getting them caught in the stupid plastic grooves. My other $20 Conair straightener is not the most well-made straightener but it actually WORKS and straightens my hair. I guess if you set the temperature at its max (450F degrees) and if you're very careful to not get your hair caught around the hteated ceramic, you might be able to use it..
