I got this as a gift. It dries ok, but my hair is still frizzed and full of flyaways as always. No difference for me between this one and a non-ionic hair dryer.

Air concentrator and non skid pads are a plus. Comes with hanging loop and cord guard for easy storage. Ionic conditioning makes a significant difference in the way hair looks and feels. Continuous streams of negatively charged ions condition the hair while styling. Ions make hair healthy looking by smoothing the hair shaft to reduce frizzy, fly-away hair.
