Although I had originally hoped for the "hot" colors when I found this product, I was still immensely pleased with the metallic colors that I received. The colors, when applied properly, are very vibrant, and are very fun to mix (not mix together, but using different colors for a single look). All the colors are complementary to each other...I've yet to come across a color combo that is NOT pleasing to the eyes. Pun intended. :)
Product came with a few extras which I was VERY pleased by. Great customer service, shipped super quickly, and is so impressive, my coworker purchased a set of her own after seeing mine. I will definitely be buying other products from them!

The picture is not the product you get in the mail. The colors are not as vibrant, a little larger than a dime, spaced far apart, not labeled with numbers, and of poor quality. This makeup reminds me of the stuff you buy at the Dollar Store or the stuff little girls will play with. Shany products suck and are a discrace to what wearing makeup is all about. No one wants to wear clown makeup unless you are a clown. The texture does not pick up well on your finger, it is grainy and streaks. It is a shameless thing to send an inferior product; not only is it false advertising it is also stealing. I would be embarrassed to even give this to someone; it is going in the trash.Customer Review: Lots of fun options!

This is a great set of colors for those of us who like to experiment a lot. I also have two daughters who are working with makeup in different ways - one prefers a classier look, the other is an artist - and changeable by the day... :-)
The colors are as advertised, lot of vibrant sample sizes of lots of different colors. As a result, I recommend that the shadows be blended with primer (both to conserve the sample and also for setting power). For my youngest daughter, I like that she can take these strong colors and mix them with other shades to create the exactly right color for her - which also allows her to exercise her creative, independent side.

I bought this item for my 17 year old Sister in Law, and snagged it for 17.99. She was thrilled with the gift. Everyone asked where I bought it, and if it was expensive. The colors are VERY vibrant, and they are extremely long lasting. Unfortunately, one of the colors (black) had broken during shipment. When I opened the package to check the contents, the eye shadow had transferred from the box all over my hands and dropped on my carpet. I had to whip out the steam cleaner just to get the stain out. Now THAT is some high quality pigment! I would recommend this palette over the pricier department store brands. I'm picking one up for myself now. =]Customer Review: vivid colors

I love this eye shadow palette! I just received it 3 days ago and have used it each day. The colors are exactly as pictured (pics 1 - 4), very vivid (better than NYX eyeshadows). You don't need to apply a lot of color either. I also use eyeshadow primer (bare escentuals brand) before applying. I'm sure you can use any brand of primer. I can't wait to try with my new Urban Decay primer potion. Each eyeshadow is about the size of a U.S. nickle, not like a dime as someone else stated in their review. This one does not have a mirror. I'm very glad I waited for this set to be back in stock. I also received a lip gloss and eye liner with my purchase.
