I bought this soap because one, it's supposed to be better for the environment and secondly the other reviewers convinced me. The soap does smell nice and if you don't like the smell I wouldn't worry about it because it doesn't really linger on the skin for long.
It does a good job of leaving a clean feeling but does not in any way dry out my skin or make it tight or flaky. Afterwards, my skin is soft and I can actually skip using lotion. I've only had it for about a week so we'll see how it goes in the long run, but so far, I'm happy I bought it. It's great since it leaves such a nice clean feeling (without the itchy, uncomfortable dryness), especially since it's getting hot out. Then showers become heavenly ^_^
