I bought this because I am obsessed with skincare and anti-aging. When I saw the percentage of zinc oxide, I had to have it, because my dermatologist educated me on percentages of z.o. in moisturizing sunscreens. And this seemed awesome.
The sunscreen just seems to be too much. It feels too much like a sunscreen and not a moisturizer. I like to slather lotion on and let it sink in for a while before putting on makeup. This stuff is just SO THICK. It doesn't feel like I moisturized, it feels like I put a thin layer of white paint on my face. The tiniest amount is too much. It eventually soaks into the skin, but I still don't feel moisturized.
I like Elta MD. High % of z.o., higher SPF, and feels more like a moisturizer. Lighter, soaks in better, just feels better in general. I will use this as a non-waterproof sunscreen, but not as a combo.
