This is the second identical SuperStar hair straightener that I have owned. The first one I bought from a beauty supply store. I used it for about 4 years and it worked great, but then towards the end it stopped turning on. It would turn on for a few seconds and then turn off. I thought maybe it had just worn out so I purchased a new one from Amazon. This one never worked from the start. It only turns on 50% of the time and has been so frustrating! Especially considering how much I paid for it. Don't buy this product!
