Customer Review: Defective Packaging

I love the product, but can't give it a good review because of the defective packaging. The first time I used the product, I heard a leaking noise coming out of the top. (The bottle still sounded full after I used it the first time.) It was gone within a day. I called TIGI and they assured me that the packaging problem had been fixed and sent me a new bottle. Again, after one use, the product was gone. I called TIGI again and they sent me a new bottle, apologizing for the packaging, and again assuring me that they had fixed it. After 4 rounds of this same song and dance, they ended up sending me a total of 5 more bottles of the product, along with a gift for my inconvenience. I tried the product again this last time, and even stored it upside down, as recommended by the guy at the salon that sold it to me. The product lasted 5 times, even though after each use, it still sounded as if the bottle was full (or at least as full as it was before I used it that time). The last time I used the product, 2 weeks later, when i flipped the bottle over to open the cap, a sticky liquid that filled the cap spilled all over me. Sure enough, the product was gone.
It's too bad that this product has defective packaging, and it's too bad that TIGI knows that it's defective and continues to sell it. (I know they know because the lady at the salon this morning told me that she had heard from TIGI that the product just doesn't last that long.) The good news is, if you buy it from an authorized retailer, TIGI will take care of you.
