This product gives wonderful results to my very fine hair when used after Bed Head Cocky hair thickener- My hair becomes the hair I always wanted, with great body, massive volume. It feels like I have five times more hair! Before blow drying, use a small amount(nickle size for my medium length hair) of the Cocky paste and comb through hair. Dry with a hair dryer for about a minute, then use the Superstar Thick Massive Hair sparingly. I just flip my hair down and shake a little on and then shake some on the top layers. Comb through, blow dry and experience a miracle- well, you know what I mean!Customer Review: What does this actually do...

I had this product on the shelf for over a year. Everyime I used it, except for making my hair a bit easier to comb through, I wondered: what is this product supposed to be doing?
Maybe I got the one that was diluted with water at the store-- because I could never figure it out... As a disclaimer, I do have naturally thick hair so maybe that is a reason this never impressed me much.
I finally emptyed my bottle and recycled it to make room for some better products on my shelf.

I have fine hair and needed some volume. I wasn't too impressed with this product. After I used it (every time, mind you) my hair had a really weird texture, it didn't feel nice when I touched it and it made my hair heavy. I couldn't wait to wash it out each time. I kept going back to using it because I thought maybe I hadn't used it properly the time before. I experimented with the amount of product I put on and where I applied it, and every time it was the same. This product works great on my fine, straight hair -- it makes it appear thicker and hold a style better, without weighing it down or making it greasy. It's meant to be used before blow-drying, but I discovered that even if I don't blow-dry, it still works pretty well. You don't get as much volume that way, but you still get some thickness and hold. I don't like blow-drying my hair (I'm lazy and don't want the heat damage) so this was a happy discovery for me!Customer Review: "Massive Wet Noodle"

Crap!... Nah.. I mean, I'm glad it works for most of you.. at least it seems like it. In my opinion it should be named "Massive Wet Noodle". I actually didn't get any volume out of this product and it doesn't lather very well either. On the flip side it smells great (I could smell my hair all day), and it made it soft. So... it has its pros and cons.
