I have been using the Tarte Lip Stain in fiery for two weeks, and it is a beautiful matte shade of red. I am brown skinned and the color stands out without looking like too much. Usually with a red I have to be careful not to smear it throughout the day. Not with this. It is a stain and it lasts a long time. I can go a good half day before I re-apply. My lips feel like there is nothing on them, and the color pops. It does keep your lips moisturized without feeling like there's something on them. A word of caution however: be careful when you apply it. The tip seems to be fragile, and can break easily - especially in warm weather. The price is rather steep at $24 but it's worth it for the color impact and the long lasting benefits.
