I have been waiting for 3 weeks now to receive a prepaid envelope so I can return the InStyler and receive a refund. By the time I receive the prepaid envelope my 30 days will be up and then I will not be able to return it. I have sent numerous emails to Safari Store and filed a claim with Amazon and still nothing has been done. At this point, I will never purchase anything from either location. If I do not receive my prepaid envelope within the next week I will be contacting the Attorney General's Office to have this issue handled. From the looks of it I am not the only one who has had issues with this store. I think Amazon should highly consider removing Safari Store from their site since they do not want to attempt to help in resolving issues. Safari Store even had the nerve to ask me to go back and enter a new and positive review since they are a new and upcoming store. Can you believe it? Just send me my prepaid envelope so I can be done with it all and give me my $70 back.Customer Review: Worth the $, even if it stops working after a few months

This gives salon quality styling with minimal effort and minimal time. It is expensive... and according to the other reviews on here, it stops working after a few months. I am ok with that. Here's why: in order for me to get similar results with my hair, I have to go to the salon, which requires making an appointment, driving there, waiting, and then spending at least 30 minutes with the stylist, paying, and then driving back (I would estimate the total cost to be around $30, and that's if I don't take time off from work to do it). With this unit, it takes 5-10 minutes at my own house. So, if I use it 80 times and it cost $80, it's only $1 per use....far less than I would spend at the salon. Plus, I can get salon looking hair every day with this, instead of once of month with the salon.
I did not give it 5 stars because: it breaks down fairly quickly (according to other reviewers), the lack of a burn guard causes burns to face and hands, it is not good for use on bangs.

I got this for christmas and absolutely love it!! I have naturally curly hair and never can find a product that works well for straightening, always just ended up using a larger barrel curling iron that ultimately damages my hair. Granted I have only used my instyler twice but I dont know how I lived with out it, It is fabulous! It straightens with just one pass through my hair and leaves my hair straight smooth and soft! I am hoping that after discontinued use of the regular curling iron that my hair shows less damage. However, I do have to say that even my dry split ends looked healthier and smoother after using the InStyler. I am usually skeptical of any infomercial products but this one is great! A collegue of mine had used it on her neice's thick naturally curly hair and it worked wonders! I give this product 5 stars and hope they decide to make them in various barrel sizes for everyone to be able to experience this wonderful product! KUDOS!Customer Review: InStyler Rocks

Ok we've all seen the infomercial and thought right this will work for me if I had 50 people in the bathroom with me every morning! But wait I happened to see this thing in a store and thought it could work not so much to straighten my hair but to give it a little bend on the ends and some body that you just don't get with a flat iron, and it does just that. While it wont get your hair stick straight if you're a mixed chick like me or African American it will give you a I woke up this way, not a I spent 2 hours in the bathroom styling my hair within a inch of its life look which I cant stand the over styled hair sculpture look. If you want hair that looks like it just happened but still pulled together get this thing, its cut my styling time down to 15-20mins. The only thing is you don't get any of the extras like you would if you purchased it from the InStyler site, but I have a comb and styling spray so who cares.

I ordered the professional Instyler and received it promptly. I loved the way my hair looked after using it. Not only did it straighten my hair but left it with lots of body that stayed! Unfortunately after using it daily for approximately 4 months I plugged it in and it was dead. I contacted the company is it has a one year warranty. I paid to ship it back and within 10 days received a replacment one that came with a legal statment discussing arbitration. My replacement Instyler last only about half as long as the first one and again it just quit working one day. As much as I love how it makes my hair look it's not worth the hassle of a product that doesn't work. I didn't bother returning the second Instyler but threw it into the trash. It's a great idea but the product obviously has some flaws and I now understand why a legal statement was included as this seems to be a recurring problem. Very disappointed especially for the cost.
