My old Turbie Twists (from many years ago) are getting worn out with broken elastic, so it was time to get some new ones. For me, this product has not changed over the years. They work well with my shoulder-length hair, keeping wet hair up and out of the way as I dry off, get dressed, and apply lotion and makeup. By the time I am ready to remove the Turbie Twist and dry and style my hair, the excess moisture is removed. I'd never venture outdoors in one -- they are not a Hollywood-style glamour turban.
