I purchased this perfume from Amazon because I had a good experience purchasing Un Jardin Sur Le Nil just a few weeks before. I must admit, when I opened the package I was very surprised. The perfume in the bottle was an entirely different color than it is in the image on the wesite and in the stores. The perfume I received is a dark amber color! This caused me to question the authenticity of the product. Hermes makes high quality perfumes. Why in the world would this be a totally different color? The bottle of Un Jardin Sur Le Nil was the proper color, but this was not! This perfume smelled exactly the same and the bottle was exactly the same, but the color of the perfume itself was much darker. It was disappointing. Even if it was a tester, that should not make a difference! Oh well, it was less expensive than the other bottles, so I guess I shouldn't complain right? Trust me, I don't think I'll be purchasing another "tester" from Amazon again even if they do promise it to be the same thing...
