I tried other depilatories/razors etc on my coarse hair so i figured, why not try this? I followed all the instructions. I applied the mousse in the shower with my hands. I covered the area on my legs quite well. Then i waited the full 6 minutes and used the plastic "Razor" to remove the cream. I had to rinse the razor continuously under water as I did small sections at a time - the way you do with regular shaving. After i removed all the visible white mousse, I took a full shower, making sure i got rid of any left over chemical with shower gel and sponge. I figured the sponge would also help to get rid of any left-over hair. Finally when i came out of the shower i checked my legs. It did a pretty decent job of burning the hair away, however, there were still spots of hair left throughout my legs. Even though i tried my best, running the razor several times over each section. When I ran my hand over those hair spots, they were so soft that they weren't noticeable to the touch, however i could still see them, so that was kind of disappointing. My legs also felt VERY dry - i needed a body oil to really quench the dryness of my skin, and I'm not that sensitive so that says a lot!
The PROS are: yes, it removes coarse hair, but not completely, I don't have to worry about cutting myself as with a razor, i don't have to wait 12 minutes like other depilatories, and it leaves my legs very soft.
The CONS are: results are patchy even after using both the razor AND a sponge, you have to use a lot of product to cover the area so you use up the bottle quickly, leaves legs dry, having to WAIT while this thing works and you can't MOVE or do anything arrgghh, I could feel hair growing back in 12 hours.
Finally, I felt like i was doing the work of shaving twice - once to apply and wait for the product to take effect, and second to remove the product with the razor, not to mention you still needed to run the water and rinse the plastic "razor". I might as well have taken a regular razor and used that, save me some time, and I would have gotten more complete results. Maybe this product is only good for places you're afraid to get cuts, otherwise, you might as well stick to shaving.
