Customer Review: Best Steam Setter I've Had, But...

I've been using steam setters for over ten years, and the Vidal Sassoon is the better of the two brands I've used. However, the main complaint I have about steam setters, including this one, is that they don't last for more than a year or two. I used to be OK with that when they were about half the price, but, with what I consider to be an exhorbitant price, it will get very expensive when I have to replace this one. I don't quite understand what makes these things so expensive.
Also, I'd like to be able to buy just the unit,because with my short hair, I can't even use most of the rollers that come with it. In fact, I have to go online to find the smallest rollers they have.
All that being said, I still like this method of doing hair because it really does work. So, I guess I'll continue to bite the bullet and buy another one when this one dies on me.
