I pretty much never write reviews, but I have to write one for this stuff because its awesome. My mom randomly sent me this and I was definitely skeptical and wasn't expecting much. I am mixed, black and white, so my hair is curly and gets frizzy pretty easily. Usually my hair looks great the day I wash it, and then quickly deteriorates from there. However I'm on day 4 after washing my hair, and my hair is definitely gotten frizzier, but it still looks really good, especially compared to how it usually is. Usually by this time my hair is in a state of matted frizziness and im usually dreading having to wash it and desperately trying to revive it. Instead, my hair is still soft and most of my ringlets are still intact! I couldn't be more pleased. I've been applying the texture balm everyday to tame the frizz and it actually helps! I also loved that it was a once-step process in the shower. Usually I wash my hair twice and then condition it, so to have one step do all 3 steps and BETTER is wonderful. I'm really hoping it keeps working this well and the effects don't fade like with other hair products because this stuff is BOMB.
But I do think it depends on your hair type. It's definitely a lot of moisture, which my hair needs because it's so thick and curly. But I can understand if you have straight and/or thinner hair how this stuff might weigh your hair down and make it seem oily/dirty. But for those blessed with crazy curls, I definitely recommend this stuff!
