I've purchased a few straightening irons in my day, and every time they either start breaking on me or never get hot enough to do the job. I was ready to give up and start getting it straightened at a salon and save me the trouble but with the cost I thought I search one more time and see if I could buy one that did the job, and did it well. I've purchased from Amazon many times so this was a great start. I found this duo straightening/curling iron and bought it. Got it delivered to my home, opened the box, plugged it in and styled my hair. Nice, really nice! It was easy to handle as some irons don't feel right in your hand and sometimes feel you're going to lose your grip on the thing. It heated well too so I was able to straighten more hair than I did with the other brands, the others would only be able to heat a little hair at a time as they never heated up completely. I liked this iron so much I set out to buy another so when I travel just in case I lose one, I have another at home! Great product, really like this one.
